It would be nice if there was an option when publishing to force an initial report run. Also after publishing there could be an optio n to open web portal with current user and focus on published report.

    Hi Steve, as I think of it the first part may overdo it, but second one can help on what you wrote about + it could help to navigate if there are a lot of reprots on Web Portal.

    Hi Michael - thanks for this idea.

    What's the reasoning behind running a report as part of the publication?  Is this just to confirm the report works?

    I really like your idea about opening the web portal to the report when you publish it.  It feels like this might easily get the user to the state where they can run the report (and use the report options) without having to add more controls to run the report.
