As an end user it would be nice if Jet Essentials would apply specific formatting based on the data type being pulled from the database. For example, when pulling in a date field instead of returning the  Julian format (ie: 42431) it would be nice if Jet Essentials recognized that the field type is a datetime and automatically changed the Excel format of the cell to Date. Varchar or nvarchar would be text, int would be comma style with no decimals, decimal would be comma style with XX decimals, etc. It would be nice for the user to "pre-set" these as I'm sure different companies want different looks but having the format automatically be applied when the report is initially create would be great.
