Currently there is a feature in cube data sources to use "Windows Authentication (Other User)" but it was originally configured to only allow this with IIS data sources. You can see from the screenshot below that it is greyed out and not selectable:

If I change the server name to start with http://, however, it does become selectable:

 

 

What I would like to see is the ability for our users to utilize this form of authentication when not using IIS (ie: just pointing to a normal server). 

This is already supported in Excel connections to cubes so I don't see why it wouldn't work in Jet Professional as well. If I recall this behavior just wasn't specified in the original user story so it may be a relatively easy thing to address.
