Jet Portal has just been installed for me and I was told than I cannot schedule reports to run automatically and update within the Portal. I can only schule reports to run and be distributed or leave reports there which colleagues have to start themselves. What I as hoping for was a Portal where I can get reports to automatically update each day/week/month so that my colleagues can just go in and see the latest Version without having to start anything or wait. I was expecting to be able to use Jet Portal in combination with the Jet Reports Scheduler, i.e. get reports to run. Drop them in a Folder somewhere and link the Portal to this Report. This is the kind of functionality I need.
