A common and well-documented issue (sources include usability studies, trainers, interviews, and surveys) is how users accidentally make changes in report mode, then when switching back into design mode, lose those changes. Since one can reasonably assume that nobody wants to lose changes they made, preventing this is valuable.

This idea contains two separate ways of warning users against making changes in design mode or report mode.

1. Add a banner of some kind to report mode that lets user know which mode they are in, and that changes made in this mode will be lost
2. When a user attempts to edit a cell in report mode, display a warning modal that changes made in this mode will be lost and give user opportunity to switch into report mode
