As a Jet user, I'd like there to be a simpler way to create detail lists with views that doesn't require understanding the differences between views and tables, what fields in my view could act as if they were a primary key, or what a field cache is (see here for an explanation). One possible solution would be for Jet to pass all fields in a view by default as a field cache if the Field parameter is left blank in an NL Rows or Columns query against a view. This default could be overridden by those who want to build a field cache to create a summary list/table simply by adding a Field Cache to the Field parameter.
