Ability to add permissions on the Jet budget to create Excel reports

Currently only the owner of a budget can read/refresh the Budget data through the Jet Ribbon using the GL(JetBudget). 

 

It would be nice if we can set multiple users to be able to read/refresh the data of a Budget in a case where several people would need to report on it (Ex: CFO, Finance Users, IT).

    Absolutely agree with this suggestion. It seems as thought the product was set up for multiple providers of information but only one reporter of it, and logically thinking, if you have lots of providers you will have more than one reporter.

    Perhaps a different permission could be attached to each work item that allows for multiple reporters of the information. Therefore if they have a Jet Reports file prepared for them that includes a Jet Budget reference they will see the data, regardless of whether they have switched the owner to themselves or not.

    This is a serious shortcoming of the product. I cant see how it is logical that if I am away, another accountant will need to remember to change the Jet budget ownership in order for the data to appear in a report.I would usually prepare.
