Do you want to play a crucial role in shaping Jet Global products?
When having a hybrid Active Directory environment, the windows user names are the same, but the SID's are different on the workplace and the database server.
Creating a datasource, there is only the possibility to choose between Windows authentication and NAV database authentication.
Using Windows authentication generates an error, stating that there is no such user in the database.
The log file shows that the windows SID is used to authenticate the user against the database.
That will never work, because the SID on the workplace differs form the SID on the database server.
Only the windows user names are the same.
I would like to have the ability to specify wether the username or the SID should be used on windows authentication. It is crucial in hybrid environments.
