We're slowly moving our scheduling functionality away from our current scheduler (which is reliant on the Windows task manager), and into our own scheduler. The initial interface for this will be in the Jet Web Portal and will be released in 1Q. It will have a rich text editor to control the formatting of the body of the email.
With the server based scheduler we're looking to change the way the body & subject line of a scheduled report are defined - moving this outside of Excel and into a rich text editor (with access to the Named Ranges in Excel).
So would a rich text editor work for this (rather than 'Excel formatting')?

Sure!
