Currently it is possible, using NL("Slicer"), to take the value(s) from a slicer and put them into a cell. This allows slicers to be used as filters in Jet functions. It would be great if the reverse was true as well. There are times where I, as a user, want to select a Lookup value in an options window (ie: Salesperson = AB) and have this filter be applied to any pivot tables in the workbook. Currently there is no way to do this so if I have Jet Essentials functions as well as pivot tables there isn't a way to have the user select one filter that applies to both. In short, I would like to be able to type AB into a specified cell and have the Salesperson slicer automatically update to just have AB selected and then to have any pivot tables that are tied to that slicer update accordingly.
